The rumors are TRUE. HSP is putting together an epic trip to the 2010 Spring Classics in Belgium. This will not be like any cycling trip you have ever taken. It’s an opportunity to experience the worlds toughest and most historic one day bicycle races up close and personal: The Ronde van Vlaanderen (The Tour of Flanders), Gent-Wevelgem, and Paris-Roubaix. NOT just as a spectator but as a rider too!
We will ride the entire Tour of Flanders course as well as recon major stretches of both Gent- Wevelgem and Paris- Roubaix. The group will be driven around on race days by locals in the know, and be able to see the races from many vantage points. We will also have the opportunity to meet pro riders from the present and icons of the sport from the past. A tour of the Ridley bicycle factory, a trip to the Tour of Flanders museum and supported rides around the Ardennes countryside, are some of the amazing activities that we will be a part of the SUPER RONDE 2010.
HSP will be releasing full details about our trip in the next month and space will be limited to 10 riders. The tentative dates are: Departing on April 2nd and returning on April 12th.
Interested parties are encouraged to have good level of riding fitness as mileage on this trip will range from 250-500 miles (maybe more if you’re REALLY motivated!).
