Herriott Sports Performance is pleased to announce the addition of Kelly “K Woz” Waznicki to the coaching/strength and conditioning staff.
In 2008, Kelly graduated with a degree in Movement Science from the University of Michigan. There, she extensively studied biomechanics through coursework and research. Her research focused on rehabilitation methods for stroke populations. This, in conjunction with coursework in motor control and exercise physiology provided her with an in-depth knowledge of “what goes on” during exercise and movement. Additionally, Kelly is a Certifed Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, and she became a USA Triathlon Level I Coach in 2007.
After numerous accomplishments in swimming, cross country, and track, and triathlon, Kelly discovered that her greatest passion was for cycling. In 2006 she started racing with the Michigan Cycling Team and the Ann Arbor Velo Club. In 2007 and 2008, she qualified for Collegiate Road Cycling nationals. Kelly is now a Category 2 road racer, and has recently picked up track racing and cyclocross.
Kelly is an up and coming coach with an impressive background in sport and movement science. Her personality and skill set are great addition to our staff and we are lucky to have such a talented up and coming professional join our unique team.
Kelly can be reached for coaching and private strength training at the HSP Training Facility: 206 816 3436
