When the saddle on your bike is causing you pain and discomfort, your cycling experience can quickly turn into a negative one. If your performance is suffering because you simply cannot get comfortable on your saddle — the one you bought because everyone was telling you how great it is — then it’s time to make a change.
Making a saddle change can be an expensive proposition, and how can you be sure that the saddle your looking at in the shop is going to be the one that will give you the relief you are desperate for? You can’t! You can’t unless you put it on your bike and go riding with it. Putting it on your bike and riding around the parking lot won’t tell you much. Spending an afternoon riding on it will provide you with the feedback you need to make an informed decision on that saddle.
The Saddle Demo program at HSP was created for riders who want to try a saddle before they buy.
How does it work?
The process is simple. Come into HSP and choose a saddle from our extensive saddle inventory. We can put it on for you or you can do it yourself. If we don’t have the saddle you are looking for, we’ll get it and fast.
Keep the saddle for two weeks and ride it and ride it some more. If that saddle does not work, bring it back and exchange it for another and try again.
How much does it cost?
The Saddle Demo Program costs $75.00. When you decide what saddle you want to go with, we deduct the $75.00 from the cost of the new saddle. If you should decide not to purchase a saddle through our program, the $75.00 fee is non-refundable.
