Don't Call It a Comeback

If you’ve been to a Rocket Ride, then you know. Todd Herriott is back on the horse. Todd retired from professional cycling a couple years ago. And you’ve probably seen him at a handful of races the last couple seasons. But he’s just relied on his years of experience to get him through. Now he’s training…and it shows. TH is motivated to ride, again. And his fitness has motivated me to ride tough, too. It’s great to ride with another talented rider like Todd and it has raised my level, too. We’ve assembled a nice little hit-squad of employees at HSP to assault the NW race scene next season. It’s a blast to ride with a small group of dudes who know the score. More on the squad later…
Our great training rides are not our only motivation. We received our new HSP kits last week & they are cool. Todd & I have raced professionally for many years, but we turned into nine-year old kids on Christmas when our new Capo kits arrived. In the next few weeks we will be charged-up again with the arrival of our custom Guru bikes. Then we’ll be motivated to practice our team execution & then motivated to stay on the roller of our HSP scooter & finally motivated to start racing together. We’re having fun! It’s not a job any longer, it’s about feeling good, looking good, and raising the level in the NW…and, well…having fun. So next time you look over at TH and he has that smile going like Chucky…hold on and know that even though you’re not having fun, he is.
