This championship event truly brings top age groupers from all around the country together. Athletes must qualify to attend. To see qualification standards click here. HSP had three athletes race at this event for the first time.

Brett Phillips, still very new to the sport, raced in the 20-24 year old divison and had a fantastic race with a time of 2:24.05. This was his first Olympic Distance race! He enjoyed the experience and is excited to take on this adventure in the coming years. Way to go Brett.

Erik Lovro raced in the 25-29 year old division. He had a PR by 2 min in the swim, a 5 min in the bike! Finishing with a time of 2:31.22, 4 min faster than the last time on this course. Great job Erik.

Barabara Logan had a fantastic race with a PR on this course by 16 minutes! Dropping 1.5 min in the swim, 10 min in the bike and 6 min in the run. Those track workouts are paying off! FANTASTIC!

Brett Brinton, Sarah Holberg and Bridget Jones raced this annual event comprised of 899 finishers.

This was Brett’s first triathlon! He placed 15th in his divison and with a time of 1:39.47. Brett is officially “hooked” on triathlon!

Sarah raced back to back weekends and finished off this season with a time of 1:46.59. Congrats on a sprint tri run PR and awesome swim!

Bridget came back from her bike accident at Black Diamond and placed 4th overall and 1st in her divison with a time of 1:15.27. Great job!
